High surface area carbon black will usually deliver higher blackness but will also bring the problem of “low loading quantity” which will affect the production rate. After investigating the actual production demand of customers, Anhui Black Cat has developed carbon black specially for color-paste/pigment dispersion with high surface area and low DBP.



High Surface Area

Carbon black with high surface area will deliver nice blackness and tinting in application system.

Low DBP

Carbon black with low DBP will give black paste better fluidity and lower viscosity, which will better fulfill the demand of high-concentration color paste.

Resistant to Flocculation

In color paste system with high carbon black loading quantity, there is high demand for carbon black storage stability. In water-based color paste system with 45% or even higher carbon black loading quantity, there will be seeding, flocculation or gelling problems after a period of time. In order to solve this problem, we have developed "color-paste-special" carbon black with unique production process to allow easier disperse ability and endow the carbon black with better storage stability.
